稻曲菌素及其生物合成途径研究进展

    Research progress on ustiloxins and its biosynthetic pathway

    • 摘要: 稻曲菌素(Ustiloxins)是由稻绿核菌产生的一种环肽类毒素。稻绿核菌引起的稻曲病不仅显著增加了水稻空秕粒率,降低粒重,影响了水稻产量,而且由其产生的稻曲菌素改变了稻米品质,严重威胁我国食品安全。近年来,随着基因组学以及分子生物学的发展,对其生物合成途径及调控机理的研究逐渐深入。截至目前,稻曲菌素B生物合成途径研究最为清晰且主要集中在黄曲霉中。研究表明:参与稻曲菌素B生物合成途径的基因有11个,其合成途径不仅受到结构基因转录水平的影响,而且还受到途径专一性调控因子ustR、蛋白酶kexB以及全局性调控因子LaeA的调控。就近年来稻曲菌素新结构的发现、理化性质、检测方法等进行综述,重点介绍其生物合成途径及调控机理,为今后进一步开展黄曲霉中稻曲菌素合成调控机理的研究奠定基础。

       

      Abstract: Ustiloxins is a kind of cyclic peptide mycotoxin produced by Ustilaginoidea virens. Rice false smut (RFS), caused by U. virens, significantly increases the rate of empty bast, reduces grain weight, and ultimately affects the rice yield. Additionally, ustiloxins, produced by U. virens, change the rice quality and seriously threaten food safety in China. In recent years, with the development of genomics and molecular biology, the biosynthetic pathway of ustiloxins and its regulatory mechanism have been studied in depth. At present, the biosynthetic pathway of ustiloxins B is the clearest and it is mainly concentrated in Aspergillus flavus. There are 11 genes involved in the biosynthetic pathway of ustiloxins B, which are not only regulated by gene transcription level, but also by pathway-specific regulator ustR, protease kexB and global regulator LaeA. In this review, novel structures, physicochemical properties of the ustiloxins and their detection methods were summarized, with emphasis on the biosynthetic pathway of ustiloxins and its regulatory mechanism, which will lay a foundation for further research on the biosynthesis pathways and regulatory mechanisms of ustiloxins in Aspergillus flavus.
