Abstract:
To save land, improve warehouse capacity and ensure grain quality, a new granary structure was proposed by adding buttress columns on the outside pillars of semi-underground concrete horizontal warehouse. Based on the Tianjin Lida grain semi-underground horizontal warehouse project, the stress and deformation were analysed for three kinds of horizontal warehouse, on the ground without buttress columns, semi-underground without buttress columns and semi-underground with buttress columns columns. It is found that the lateral displacement of structures with additional buttress columns decreases obviously, the maximum structural stress is transferred from the bottom of the column to the joint between buttress columns and the columns, and the maximum stress decreases significantly. The overall analysis to the different heights and the supporting angles of the buttress columns was further carried out. It is found that the height of the buttress column 3 m is a reasonable height and the reasonable supporting angle is 60 degrees. Based on the analysis of the whole parameters of different grain loading varieties and different grain loading heights, it is concluded that this horizontal warehouse is suitable for multiple grain varieties and the height of loading can reach up to 16 m.
