益生菌-水凝胶协同递送系统的研究进展与AI+设计发展新趋势

    Research progress on the application fields and protection mechanisms of probiotic hydrogel delivery systems, and the development trend of AI empowerment

    • 摘要: 益生菌作为一类对宿主健康有益的活性微生物,具有调节肠道菌群、增强免疫力、改善代谢等多种健康功效,但其在应用过程中存在稳定性差、存活率低等问题,构建益生菌的稳态化递送体系成为解决这些问题的关键。水凝胶作为一种递送载体,凭借其独特的三维网络结构和高含水率,能够有效保护益生菌免受胃酸、胆盐等恶劣环境的影响,提高其在胃肠道中的存活率和生物利用度。分析了益生菌在应用中存在的问题,探讨了水凝胶在益生菌稳态化递送中的封装与保护机制,阐述了水凝胶基益生菌在食品及医药领域的应用,提出人工智能技术(AI)和机器学习技术(ML)赋能益生菌水凝胶递送体系的发展趋势,强调AI技术在水凝胶基益生菌的应用领域、稳定性能、功能性等方面具有重大潜力,为益生菌的水凝胶基稳态化递送体系的深入融合发展提供新的思路与途径。

       

      Abstract: Probiotics, beneficial active microorganisms for host health, exhibit multiple advantages, such as regulating intestinal microbiota, boosting immunity, and improving metabolism. However, their practical application is hampered by poor stability and low survival rates in harsh environments. Thus, developing a stable delivery system for probiotics is crucial to address these issues. Hydrogels, characterized by their unique 3D network structure and high water content, can effectively protect probiotics against harsh conditions (e.g., gastric acid and bile salts), thereby enhancing their survival rate and bioavailability in the gastrointestinal tract. This review first summarizes the challenges in probiotic application, then elaborates on the encapsulation and protection mechanisms of hydrogels for stable probiotic delivery, and further explores the applications of hydrogel-based probiotics in food and medicine. Furthermore, it highlights the development trend of incorporating artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) technologies into probiotic hydrogel delivery systems. The review emphasizes that AI holds significant potential in expanding the application fields, improving stability, and enhancing the functionality of hydrogel-based probiotics. This provides new insights and technical approaches for the in-depth integration and sustainable development of hydrogel-based probiotic delivery systems.
