Abstract:
In this study, the optimal process of removing hemicellulose and lignin from banana peel was investigated.Based on single-factor experiment of time, temperature and remover amount, the optimal conditions of hemicellulose and lignin removal process were optimized by orthogonal experimental design. The results indicated that the optimal conditions were as follows:the volume fraction of NaOH 3%, 45 min, 60℃, and under this condition, hemicellulose removal effect was best, the remove ratio was 25.56%.Additionally, when NaClO amount was 20 g/L, acetic acid amount was 25 mL/L, temperature was 80℃, the lignin removal effect was best, the removal ratio was 14.69%, and the content of cellulose was 89.18%.This method can provide a reference for the comprehensive utilization of banana by-products.
