Abstract:
Lablab purpureus with a long planting history is the minor economic crop and is cultivated widely throughout the world.It not only has good edible value,but also has higher medicinal value.In recent years,as people's living standard rising,the demand for Lablab purpureus and other minor characteristic economy crops is growing,which promote the development of genetic breeding and molecular biology research on Lablab purpureus.The genetic breeding of Lablab purpureus mainly includes the traditional hybridization and mutation breeding methods.Molecular marker-assisted breeding and gene engineering breeding have not been reported in Lablab purpureus breeding.The genetic diversity of Lablab purpureus contributes to the preservation of germplasm resources and molecular-assisted selection.The introduction of genetic diversity research methods is mainly based on morphological markers and molecular markers.The emergence of molecular marker technology has made indirect selection of plant breeding possible,greatly improving the accuracy of genetic analysis and the effectiveness of breeding.The high-density molecular linkage map has extremely important value in the positioning,cloning and molecular marker-assisted breeding of Lablab purpureus,and is an important basis for the research of quantitative trait locus mapping,gene position cloning,and molecular marker assisted breeding.This paper reviewed the progresses on the Lablab purpureus'genetic breeding,genetic diversity,molecular markers and genetic linkage map in recent years,introduced the application of molecular markers involving Lablab purpureus genetic diversity and genetic map emphatically,as well as look into the future of molecular biology research on Lablab purpureus.Therefore,hope to provide some references for the studies on Lablab purpureus and other related crops.
