Abstract
For the underground reinforced concrete round granary, studying the change of the temperature field in the storehouse during the storage of grain provides theory for underground storage. The temperature sensors were embedded in the barn and in the silo to measure air temperature, soil temperature, warehouse temperature, grain temperature.By tracking and recording the data of air temperature, ground temperature, storehouse temperature and grain temperature in a whole year, the change rule of temperature field in reinforced concrete circular barn was analyzed. The results showed that the grain temperature in the rounded RC barn was stable below 20 centigrade throughout the year, which was in line with the characteristics of the quasi low temperature silo. The temperatures varied in different grain layers at vertical level, with the temperature changes at upper layers (top first and second layers) higher than that at bottom layers (below ground more than 4 m).The temperatures at upper layers (top first and second layers) were about 22℃ in summer and 15℃ in winter with change range of 7℃.With the seasons changing, the air temperature affected the soil temperature, warehouse temperature and grain temperature. In addition, the grain pile inside the granary with the surrounding temperature changing were also keeping heat exchange. The change of ground temperatures and temperatures showed consistency and lag,and the lag of warehouse temperature and grain temperature was two months. In this paper, the change rule of soil temperature, warehouse temperature and grain temperature changing with air temperature, time and space was achieved and provided reference and basis for the control of the temperature field of the underground granary.
