INVESTIGATION OF SPECIES AND DISTRIBUTION ON STORED GRAIN INSECTS OF FARMER STORAGE IN HENAN PROVINCE

A great quantity of grain was stored in farmer scale of Henan.Knowing the species and distribution of stored grain insect was basic work for farmer grain storage.Investigation of stored grain insect species and distribution in farmer grain storage located in 12 prefecture level cities in Henan province of China was carried out which included in 62 farmers or families by on-site sampling and collection.Forty six species of stored grain insects were found which included in thirty five species of fifteen families belonged to Coleopetra,six species of four families belonged to Lepidoptera and one species of Pseudoscorpionidea belonged to Arachnoidea.Plodia interpunctella、Tribolium castaneum and Sitophilus zeamais were found in more places than other insect.The farmer number of collected the insects was more than 50% of the invested farmer storage.Lariophagus distinguendus,nature enemy insect,was another species who was found in many places.Total number of insect species was varied sharply among of the survived prefectural level cities.The top number of the insect species collected in one prefectural level city was 30.The bottom number of the insect species found in one prefectural level city was 6 only.About ten species of the species were collected in many prefectural level cities.
