INVESTIGATION ON OCCURRENCE AND DISTRIBUTION OF STORED GRAIN INSECTS IN GRAIN PROCESS ENTERISES HENAN PROVINCE

insect pest infestation is relative to product quality and benefit.Knowing occurrence and distribution in grain process enterprises is benefit to the integrated management.Investigation of stored grain insect occurrence and distribution by onsite collection was carried out in 61 enterprises located in 15 prefecture level cities included in flour mills,rice mills,feed mills and so on.80 species stored grain insect were collected.Which included in 58 species of 21 families belong to Coleoptera,and 13 species of 6 families belong to Lepidoptera.Tribolium castaneum、Sitophilus zeamais and Cryptolestes ferrugineus were collected from more than 33 enterprises.Tenebroides mauritanicus,Alphitobius diaperinus,Tenebrio obscurus,Rhyzopertha dominica,Plodia interpunctella and Tinea tugurialis were sampled from 20-28 enterprises.S.zeamais,S.oryzae,R.dominica and Sitotroga cerealella were mainly found in the place where raw cereals were stored.T.castaneum、Latheticus oryzae、Palorus ratzeburg、T.mauritanicus and Oryzaephilus surinamensis were mostly collected in position where flour,broken seed or fragment existed.Anisolabis sp,C.ferrugineus,Carpophilus mutilates,C.pilocellus,A.diaperinus,A.laevigatu and Alphitophagus bifasciatus usually were seen in unhygienic parts such as corner and floor of factory,machinery pit and so on.
