    OPTIMIZATION OF THE SYNCHRONOUS EXTRACTION PROCESS OF TOTAL POLYPHENOLS,TOTAL FLAVONOIDS AND TRITERPENOIDS FROM HAWTHORN PEELS

    • In order to optimize the synchronous extraction process of total polyphenols,total flavonoids and triterpenoids from Hawthorn Peels,in this study,the method of ethanol solvent extraction was employed and hawthorn peels was selected as raw materials,the L9(34) orthogonal experiment was carried out by evaluating extraction temperature,extraction time,ratio of liquid to solid and the volume fraction of ethanol on the basis ofsingle factor experiment.The results indicated that the best extraction conditions were as follows:the ethanol was 70%,the ratio of liquid to solid was 20:1(mL/g),the extraction temperature was 75℃ and the extraction time was 2.0 h.Under the optimal conditions,the content of total polyphenols,total flavonoids and triterpenoids in extracts were 30.31%,11.10% and 1.98% respectively.Our results demonstrated that total polyphenols,total flavonoids and triterpenoids can be extracted stably and synchronously from hawthorn peels.Our study improved the availability of application of hawthorn peels resources efficiently.
